Hidden Valley Hills is located east of the Country Club neighborhood and like the Country Club, it is nestled into the hillside of Mount Soledad. Because of the natural topography of this area, residents enjoy privacy, a beautiful green landscape, wildlife, views of the San Diego night lights sparkling in the distance, the ocean, and views of North County San Diego, even reaching as far as Dana Point in Orange County on a clear day. Hidden Valley Hills offers convenient freeway access and is located within close proximity to UCSD. The average home in Hidden Valley Hills has 4 beds, 3 baths, and sits on quarter-acre lots with garages. Homes range from about $1.5 million – $4.5 million on average. The closest beach is La Jolla Shores Beach, one of the safest and family-friendly beaches is a straight shot down the hill and is oftentimes is included in the views. Cars are the main mode of transportation and kids growing up in this neighborhood will attend La Jolla Elementary, Muirlands Middle School, and La Jolla high school. The neighborhood features a variety of different types of architecture and some of the lots feature private entry gates and private driveways leading to the secluded Hidden Valley homes.

The Hidden Valley area tends to lend itself to privacy and less traffic in the neighborhood because of all the hidden homes. You can be driving down one of the streets and miss the house altogether or lose which home the driveway is leading to because of the greenery and lush landscape. In regards to the views, the homes are priced reasonably well for the spectacular La Jolla views that are to be had. The biggest advantage of this La Jolla neighborhood, besides the spectacular views and topography, is the location. Sitting at the base of Mount Soledad, Hidden Valley is just a couple of minutes to the 52 freeway and I-5, which makes this neighborhood ideal for people who work outside of La Jolla and have to commute.
