Welcome to Vista

North County

The city of Vista borders Oceanside to the east and southeast. Though it doesn’t have the coast, Vista makes up for being inland by offering the most family friendly entertainment out of its neighboring cities. All the while only being a ten to fifteen minute drive on The 78 to see the ocean and take a spot on the beach. A 2008 review listed Vista as seventh best place to live in the Unites States. Based on cost of living, climate, education, and jobs as well as business opportunities.

Entertain

Vista is just a medium size city that offers multiple varieties of entertainment. Huge shopping centers make it easy to get everything in one trip. There are two separate live theaters, one being an open air, called the Moonlight Theater and the other the Avo Playhouse. The open air theater is popular on sunny days or whenever warm, which is often. Don’t miss out on the city operated water park called The Wave. It’s smaller, but extremely well equipped. Next to The Wave is Vista Village, with The Krikorean Superplex in center and is Vistas’ only movie theater. Surrounded the theater is a nice collection of restaurants, bars, and eclectic shops. With so much growth and success, Vista is soon to be in the top 5 places to live.

Looking forward

With 25 different educational institutes, it’s easily said that Vista is preparing for the future. The work force is becoming more educated, making them more valuable to the 800 companies within in the city. Vista is becoming a mecca for family and career minded people.
