Living in San Diego, CA, the beach is where you end up spending a lot of your time. Especially in the summer, we have some very popular and well known beaches. Visitors pack our beaches all year around proving how important they are to the everyday life hear in San Diego County. After asking around, we have listing our 5 best beaches of San Diego based on popular opinion. First up on our list is our well known and favorite to many locals, Windansea Beach. Located in the center of La Jolla, people can’t get enough of Windansea. Coronado is a very beautiful and popular place to visit. That’s why it’s second on our list. Coronado, with the Hotel Del Coronado right on the water makes Coronado Beach the place to be. Pacific Beach has a lot of little strips of beach that have over the years been “named”. Our third favorite is Tourmaline Beach. Tourmaline is a main street in Pacific Beach that goes all the way down the stairs to the beach. Fourth on our list is Carlsbad State Beach. Carlsbad is a gorgeous part of North San Diego County. One of the things that draws people into Carlsbad State Beach is its location, there is a strip of delicious restaurants and fun shops right up from the water. Our last favorite San Diego beach is Cardiff-by-the-Sea Beach. Cardiff is a little known hidden treasure of San Diego County. It’s unique beauty draws people in and has them coming back for more!
