San Diego June Events

June is a great month for San Diego. Not only is it the start of Summer but it is the month that has an awesome variety of different events held in San Diego! Everything you could imagine happens in June. It is also a great month to come and visit San Diego to really get a feel for if this is the city for you! If you are thinking of relocating, I recommend you come in June, San Diego June events really help prove how awesome San Diego is! Just some of the really cool events being held in the month of June are as follows. Starting June 5th and going all the way until July 5th is the San Diego County Fair. If you have not yet experienced the SD County Fair, I advise you to check it out, it really is a good time. Another fun one, the annual La Jolla Festival of the Arts held on the weekend of June 20-21 held at the University of California, San Diego campus, which is gorgeous. One of my favorites is the annual Airshow San Diego which takes place that same weekend June 20-21. If you are a plane buff, come see what all the fuss is about! and finally, another big one, the Old Globe Theatre’s Summer Shakespeare Festival, this festival takes place in our famous Balboa Park and is a lot of fun! This one you have a lot more time to enjoy, it is held from June to September.
